Any number of good products will restore and maintain the surface. But 
the most important thing you'll need is a top-notch window protector (aka 
window pocket). PBC makes the best one I've seen, about $40 and worth 
every penny. Then USE THE DAMN THING religiously, every time the top goes 
down. This means you have to get ouf the car--just do it. I only have to 
buff my window out twice a year, and only then because I'm picky.
