Way to go Nancy.  Welcome to the asylum.  (This place is run by the 
inmates, but don't let that worry you none.)

Practice, practice, practice.  Heck, after 35 years, I'm still practicing 
and loving every minute of it. <g>

You can use the emergency brake to help you take off from a hill.  As you 
let out the clutch, drop the brake handle at the same time.  No backward 
rolling and no garbage truck clunk.
