I have a Red 1990, which is very prone to all of those 1990 "foibles" (like the
radio not working on warm days, cat rattles, etc.).

Anyway, occassionally (a couple of times a week) on start-up, none of the
electrical stuff seems to work, such as the fan, wipers, etc. Usually, shutting
the ignition off and restarting solves the problem.

IIRC, there is a relay or something that switches power to all that stuff off on
start-up so that the battery current is available for the starter motor. Is it
possible that said relay is sticking? If so, where is it, and is it easy to
replace?

If anyone can help, please respond to my home e-mail, scaiano@interhop.net.

Thanks!

Gus

PS - my 8 week old daughter seems to like the Miata - she took her first
top-down ride at the age of 4 days.
