My apologies (to those who have asked) for being quiet on this topic of
late. I've been distracted by house hunting and finding a new home for my
family.
The Gathering of the Clans is two weeks off. We've added maps of the area
and various aspects of the venue for the use of those coming. Go to
http://www.mx5.net/gathering99/ and select 'Getting Here'.
We're running a little short on the number needed to hold the dyno runs...
and even shorter on those who've declared AND sent in their deposit. We'll
be checking with Paul's Automotive Engineering to see if they go with what
we've got.... BUT, there's still time to sign up. Go to site, select
'Activities' and then the dyno day for details.
Remember, the price is right... only pay for the things you want to do and
then only those that charge an admission. NO ACTIVITY put on solely by our
club will have a cost. There is an admission to the park system, for the
dyno runs (to the proprietor), to Kings Island or Tall stacks, etc... but
notta to our club! Come and enjoy!
And for those in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, (and? Michigan or Illinois) clubs
who are active in running their clubs, we're hoping to see you on SUNDAY to
talk about a regional council. Topics will be on what we can do to help
each other... assist in organizing and putting on events/gatherings...
pooled insurance costs... and ????
