I have this cb and have the junction box in the tunnel behind the passenger
seat wired to the power wire for my stereo amplifier (which is basically an
always hot wire)...so far no interference or noise at all. I then bought a
length of speaker wire that terminated in an RCA style plug to which I
connected an adapter to let it be plugged into the junction box. I ran the
speaker wire up to the driver's headrest and placed a generic 3" raw speaker
in there. Works like a charm...can hear it on the freeway with the top down
with not too much problem.
Hope this helps!
