Thanks for asking, thats a good segue (sp?) into another thread. I lov ethe
overall effect, I can once again see the gauges through the MOMO wheel, and
as an added benefit I now sit *in* the car rather than just 'in' it.

Do you remember the thread (either here or RAMMM, I cant remember) about
wallets in back pockets causing hip/ lower back pain? I was suffering from
this (right hip pain) for a while until someone suggested removing the
wallet from the back pocket and keeping it up front. I noticed I started
having it after buying a new pair of jeans. On the new jeans, the rear
pocket was moved slightly from being center *@$$cheek to outside @$$cheek.

This move placed my wallet right on the side thigh bolsters, increasing the
pressure on my thigh and hip joint. After moving my wallet the pain went
away (about 3 days later). I put it back to test the theory and within 4
hours the pain started up!

Well heres the news: After removing a good amount of padding from the seat
bottom (actually, the top of the pad) I noticed that I was starting to have
hip pains again. As it turns out, my hip is right on top of the edge of the
"shovel" that is the seat pan! I realize that the fix is rather simply to
replace some of the padding in that area, but I wonder if the general
location of that pans edge is what was causing all of the trouble in the
first place.

Any "Occupational Physicians" out there want to take a look at the seat
design of the early ('90 - '93) Miatae to see what I'm talking about?

Brad and K.Bee (the bug slaying Miata who really *is* a pain in the @$$ but
knows I love her anyway)
