| Subject: | lighting question for M2's with DRL's |
| Date: | Sat, 2 Oct 1999 10:36:42 -0400 |
In Canada our headlights are also our DRL's on our M2's. On the M1's the
DRL's were our signal lights. My problem is that the Lux crystal blue
headlight bulbs I put in burnt out after a few hours of wear. I had them
replaced for free but one of the new ones not only burnt out but blew up
on me. I have been told that because the headlights are also DRL's the
low voltage required for DRL's along with the high wattage of these
bulbs (95/100's), makes them burn out. So I was wondering if anyone else
in the same situation has either had a similar problem or if not, what
bulbs are they using? Secondly, how the heck do I get the remnants of
the shattered bulb out of my headlight area? All those little blue
pieces are unreachable.
Appreciate your help.
