HA HA ha ha ha!!

What a maroon!

Must've been a Laser, or some other smallish/racing craft? My dad's got a
Laser that hasn't gotten wet in a decade, and a 22-foot South Coast we use
for pleasure sailing.

The South Coast has a small hole in the cockpit, at the forward end, for
draining. It's small enough that you could put a cork in it if you wanted
to, but we leave it open. Many people climb aboard, see that weensy drain
hole, and can't seem to take their eyes off it the entire time - they're
amazed that even though this boat has a hole in it, it's not sinking! 8)
