I know Jeff knows this, but I'll just spell it out for others.... Thats
Mazda MX-3 (not Eunos).

The same car was also the Eunos Presso, and AutoZam AZ3 (both in Japan).

Most of us know about the Eunos brand, being another arm of Mazda. Less of
you may know they have/had a third arm called AutoZam. I havent been able
to find out much more about it than what I've told you here...

Four names for the same car seems like a modern marvel of badge
engineering.... Except that the British were doing it years ago.

I'm thinking of a small, slightly rounded, two-box shaped sedan with FWD.
Its one of the popular runners for Car of the Century.

It was sold here as....

Austin 7.
Riley Elf
Wolsley Hornet
MG something (sorry, I forget)
Austin Mini
Morris Mini
Leyland Mini
possibly others I'm not aware of/cant remember....
And thats ignoring the Cooper variants!

Although admitedly, the Riley/Wolsley variants did have little "fins" at the
back with the lights, that stuck out 3 or 4 inches more than the other
normal Mini body style... And the Leyland brand was a product of time and
amalgamation in the British auto industry, but most of them were available
at the same time....

Can any of the Ford/Mercury/Lincoln or GM cross breeding variants beat that
many names for the same piece of metal?

Fletch.
