Yes, I have driven a Miata with RE-71's. No I didn't buy them I have
opted for the T1-S. I haven't bought those since I am waiting for a sale.
I have e-mailed and called a few places, no one of teh Miata.Net dealers
has even quoted me a price. Locally the T1-S will cost me $124 M&B.

>Toyo T1-s? How much are they paying for them and where are they getting
>them? ...or are you talking about net comments and not folks you autocross

I could post what Cat had paid for hers but that was a private e-mail.
Cat is running them, Aaron is running them and more than a few people
that I correspond with off list but in e-mail are running the new Toyo's
They all like them over the RE-71's.

results.

I'm walking into the kitchen to get it right off the stickers..........
g-ForceT/A R1 Competition Tire. From what I can tell it has 3/32's of
tread on it. I could measure it if you'd like............
3/32's of tread and they are not heat cycled. I bought them from a guy
who races and he comes to the local auto-x events. He heat cycles them
on the track he races professionally, you probably know of him. Ken Payson.
These were a leftover set he had I picked them up at the right price.
I don't know about running these in the rain, I'll probably run the Toyo's
but it's snow tire season and I have the Nokian Hakka Q's going on next
week. Ice racing in 2 months they should be broken in by then. :)

>Have fun! Sounds like you are getting it together :)

I will, thanks Bob. Slow but sure. :)
