The Gap never closes except when the snowplows can't get there.
That said, the Crossroads of Time is closed. There's a possibility 
that Tapoco is closed, but Townsend and Gatlinburg never close
down, so there is housing down nice twisty roads.

It's cool here during the day. It's cold at night. ~30 degrees 
yesterday morning. Today is supposed to get into the mid '60s,
which makes for nice topdown weather. Tonight is supposed to
be pretty cold.
