Kicker makes an excellent product, but I don't know how much the gauge of
the speaker wire going to the door has to do with it. I'm assuming that
you're running a lead from the amp in the boot to the old wiring harness,
and then using the factory wiring to go to the doors? That wire seemed
pretty okay to me. Considering that it's at the most 15' of wire, it'd
handle anything a 40w amp could dish out.
Out of curiosity, what amp are you running?
