The Toyota MR2 Spyder is downright ugly. If it was $10,000 instead of
$20,000, I could overlook its looks.
The second series MR2 was a very attractive car, especially following the
unattractive first series MR2. They must have used the stylists that worked
on the first series MR2 to design the new Spyder.
If car buyers care about styling, Mazda shouldn't be too concerned about
Toyota's new entry into the sports car market. If an economy version of
Honda's S2000 was offered, it would be a serious threat to the Miata.
