Hmmm,

Maybe she is crying/whining because winter is getting closer, and it will be a 
long time until she gets to play with Brua again?

Seriously: I have no good suggestion regarding the noise you describe. It is not 
there in the other gears, or have you not checked?
As a first step, I would try to reach behind the center console and check 
whether the wiring for the radio might cause the noise. I would also try all sorts 
of setting for the climate control levers to see whether it changes the noise (lots 
of actuators, cables and such behind the center console).
