First, new laptop, so am trying to be certain MIME is turned off.

Second, does the 40 degree top-down cutoff apply to 99's ?  I'm not worried
about the plastic window (since I don't have one), but don't want to harm
the factory top.  I've done a couple of top-down days in the 30's, so we're
not talking Alaska (Hey Sue, what's the coldest you've had your top down ?).
