Sorry to say this, but the miata is the second most fun vehicle I have
owned.  I would rank my 1956 Chev half-ton pickup truck as the most fun
vehicle that I have owned (actually the only other vehicle I have owned).
It is, however, fun in a very different way from the miata.  I had fun
restoring the truck, I guess that I bonded with that old truck during all
those long nights of grinding, painting, sanding, and wrenching.  I won't in
the foreseeable future part with my truck, but would trade the miata for
another if the opportunity presented itself.  I enjoy driving the truck
around, but can't imagine driving it like I drive the miata.  It is the
vehicle that I learned to heal and toe, double clutch, and shift without the
clutch in (Still haven't figured that last one out in the miata)  It is also
loud, slow, and hard on gas, but I get WAY more smiles, waves, etc than in
the miata.  That and the interesting conversations I get into with people,
make it a fun truck.
