Hi everybody, I'm back, feeling very welcome-- so many 'howdy's in my
mailbox-- and with a bunch more questions to ask. While it has been
mentioned that it's only money (thanks Mr Rockefeller), wasting it on
lousy goods means less cool stuff in the end! So here goes: is that
cushion really neccessary for a glass rear window? Any problems with a
particular maker's product? I've heard it makes the top sit up really
high, so does it produce a huge amount of wind noise?
I hate the rims/wheel covers/hubcaps or whatever else you want to
call 'em, that I have right now. Any suggestions for sites with lots of
pictures where I can choose some new ones? Do locks really keep them
from getting stolen? Are there any brands I want to eliminate because
of poor quality or is price always an indicator of a good product?
On this last one, you're all probably going to roll your eyes, but
what the heck, it'll be good for a laugh if nothing else... The screws
keep falling out of the visor and last time it scared the bejeezus out
of me. A while back I was rounding a curve, enjoying the beautiful
weather, when all of a sudden some sharp, pointy black thing drops from
the sky into my lap. I jumped high enough to set off the seat belt
restraint and wobbled all over the road before I could compose myself!
True, I was glad to know it wasn't some horrible beetle bug (someday
I'll tell you about my freak bee accident) or tiny asteroid, but enough
is enough. Is it o.k. to just glue the screws in? What kind of glue is
flexible enough, but won't ooze everywhere when hot weather hits?
I suppose that's enough of my questions for today. Wait, one more
question. How many times have you had someone try to back into you
because they 'didn't see you there?' My personal best was three times in
one week, the last while in an ATM drive through!

Thanks,

Veronica
