I like the idea, but am not sold on the execution - as you mention,
fastening to the hooks, and I don't like the wide border around the grille.
However, I've been watching for a stainless mesh grille for a while, and am
hoping one of the local vendors will offer something suitable. Oh yeah, the
price is kinda steep also!
Funnily enough, someone else just mentioned a new UK magazine called
Japanese Performance - I'd picked up a copy of issue no. 1 (Nov/Dec 99) a
couple of days ago, and there is an ad from a vendor called "5peed" that
shows a mesh grill for M1s and M2s. The M1 price is 85 pounds sterling
(about $170 US, not including shipping?), so quite a bit cheaper than KG
Works. Has anyone in the UK seen this unit?
