Chad,
Congratulations.  We too are a two Miata family.  We have done a few crazy
things like each of us taking one of the children and then going shopping at
the grocery store.  It was a beautiful day and we both had the top down. We
got some strange looks when we were  loading the groceries into the cars.
Both children and parents got home with big smiles on their faces.  It is
one to make chores more fun, if less practical.
