Southern NY is ski country?

NY/NJ/PA area (not upstate NY) has been relatively snow free for the past
few winters. I've had the top down for the past few days.

Last January I remember spending a lot of time outside in a T-shirt. I think
you'd be fine in the Miata round these parts.
