A few people were kidding around with Russ about all his Mods.
I don't think Russ had a problem with that, I don't think he was being put
down for being young and he's not a teen anyway. The financial help bit
was Russ who pays for all his own mods except snow tires. Re-read the thread
no one was harrassing anyone.

I think the general feeling is that Riced out cars are a waste of money
and many are done in bad taste. The Honda group in the newsgroups is very
into these type of non-performance Mods.
There are many different kinds of cars and types that drive them and
yes you can stereotype different groups of car owners, they may not be
accurate for everyone but "Birds of a Feather" and all that.
>Why can't everyone get along? Even if we do not agree on how a Miata should
>be modified we do agree on one thing don't we??? We all drive Miatas.
I think we all do get along as much as is possible with such a huge variety
of people from all walks of life.
Even the Porsche fans have their debates, air cooled versus watercooled,
Only 911's are Real Porsches, the 914 is a VW, etc....
This is just my opinion take it for what it's worth, but I think the list
is great and it's the people who make the list.
