The Nardi that came on my '91 BRG had a set screw under the rubber at the
base of the knob.  It was a metric sized hex head screw but I don't recall
what size.

if you're sure the rattle is coming from the knob and not lower in the
turret it must be just a piece of loose crap rattling about... yank the knob
and clean it out.  if the rattle is coming from lower down on the shifter
it's prolly time to check the turret for oil and replace the sealing boot.
check the shifter end bushing for wear while you're in there.

unscrew it.  just reef on it... it will come off.  and once you get it
off... think seriously about a voodoo.
