All,
Thanks to all that replied to my question, both on and off the list.
I feel ready to assemble now.
I will use 10.9 low head black oxide Unbrako's. Available at my local shop.
Torque to standard (ZF-manual).
I was told that the preload of the tapered bearings can't be checked with
the pinion installed. But there is no need as long as only the bearing is
replaced.
I've taken a picture of the ring-gear with locked bolts. If anyone is
interested in seeing that, I can mail it to your private mail-adress.
