Thanks everyone for your input.
The Australian Longchamp GTS's were assembled here using Australian Blocked
engines and heads with similar specs. to the Ford Falcon GTHO Phase III
which was one of the quickest cars here in the early seventies.
The engines were modified by De-Tomaso Australia supposedly with a .030
overbore, forged pistons at 10.5:1, balanced, high volume oil pump, large
capacity sump, an Isky cam of unknown specification and ported heads.
I have not pulled my engine down yet so I can't confirm the above, but once
it's all up and running I'll have it dynoed and let you know the results.
The 2000-4800 range with 6200 limit sounds perfect as I'm still running the
C6 auto.
