It seems more often than not, when I insert a CD into my 93's MSSS, it will
immediately reject and eject the CD, even with a brand-new CD and the car at a
standstill. Doesn't seem like the MSSS CD-Skip Fix would take care of
something like this. I've tried dry cleaning systems to no avail. What can I
do? Should I just replace the unit? 

What does one recommend to fill the massive void? It seems there were some
Pioneer units being offered by one of the miata.net vendors that didn't
require any splicing, etc. MSSS is kinda a weird system in that it will
"thump" the seats while music plays. I suppose if I go aftermarket, I won't be
able to get any of that type of functionality, etc.?
