| Subject: | Car Wash Problems! |
| Date: | Tue, 1 Feb 2000 21:46:13 -0500 |
I have noticed three major problems every time I go through my car wash.
#1 - Every time I go through the high pressure water, it manages to sneak
into the car by going between where the window meets my top on the driver
side. IS there any way to seal this up better to make sure I don't get wet?
#2 - After I leave the car wash my brakes don't work well at all! ! ! Its
like trying to brake on ice, I often have to leave two or three times as much
braking space as I normally would. I don't know why this would be, I thought
maybe because the tires were wet, but I don't have this problem in the rain.
#3 - Finally I've noticed a swishing sound. I don't know what it is, but it
sounds like quite a bit of water (maybe a gallon) swishing around. At first
I thought that maybe I had a leak in my trunk but, upon inspection the trunk
was totally dry. Is it possible the water is getting in teh area between the
trunk and the seats underneath the boot? Or could it be in the door some
how? I'm not sure where it is, but I do know that I hear teh swishing sound
up to 12 hours after I leave teh car wash.
Any advice is appreciated.
