Jeff,
You understand correctly.
Yes, the top cap may be drilled out to accommodate the larger shaft of the
KONI.
No, you cannot use the lowest perch. You must use the highest perch, and
the spring clip that hold the spring perch should be welded closed to be
Stock Class legal.
