Subject:does my 92 have a fuel light???? koni oil at the top of the shock

I have been running the guage below the E and getting over 300 miles on fill 
ups, putting in 9.8-10.2 gallons out of 11.0. When does the light come on if 
there is one?

ps: I went to soften the front shocks Sunday at an autox and noticed some 
black specks of oil around the adjuster pin, is this normal, are they 
failing, whats the deal? Are Koni's lifetime guarenteed, I heard they are 
easy to rebuild? This is only 18k or so miles after install with regular hard 
driving and a few autox's.
