Roland, when I was putting in my HDHCDD, I screwed up the driver's side main
bolt that goes under the seat belt reel.  I ended up getting a longer grade
8 bolt and nut and came through the other side.  It wasn't easy, but after
all was said and done, and after numerous re-tightenings of all the bolts
(you tighten one and another "pops" loose), it was just as solid as the
other side done the right way.  Loctite was also used.  For more info on my

this is the bolt you are talking about, but I hope this helps.
