Hey all, I'm about to switch to Amsoil synthetic and need to hear some
advice as to what weight to get. I live in northern Washington state so
temps average about 50-60F with a range of 20 in the winter-90 in the summer
F usually. Would 10w-30 be good? Any opinions of brand? I've heard Amsoil
is good, as well as Redline and Mobile 1. I am most concerned with leakage
problems that I may have with 74K miles on the engine (though almost all
front end seals were replaced about 5K miles ago). Also, are standard Mazda
filters still the way to go?
Thanks in advance!
Nate
