You have an M1, right?
Mazda sells a car with a 1.6/1.8 engine that ought to survive for at
least the warranty period even if the worst possible gas is used in a
car that has manufacturing tolerances leading to higher
compression in the hands of someone who is deaf (hears no pings)
and always tries to accelerate with WOT uphill in 5th at 1200 RPM.
IOW, we all got a suboptimal packagge because Mazda has to sell
the Miata to people who have no idea how to drive.
Thatīs my theory ....
