The subject should say it all, but, I OFFICIALLY OWN A MIATA! I bought a '96
Montego Blue with not quite 21K miles on it. I am just learning standard..
(couldn't get an automatic.. blasphemy, IMHO!) so I stalled it three times
on its maiden trip with me from the dealer to going out clubbing earlier..
lol.. I finally got there and I laughed so hard about stalling it, everyone
thought I was on drugs or something. The final time, I was at a red light on
an incline.. and prayed to not roll backwards and hit the guy behind me. So
instead, I stalled it. Go figure.
On the way home from the club, I guess I was tired enough to be more
relaxed... and didn't stall it once. <Insert cheering here> My reaction to
the car can only be described as, "WHEEE!!!" I can still barely believe that
not only do I own what's considered to my insurance company as a
Speed/Performance car, but it's exactly the Miata year/color/low mileage I
was looking for!
I haven't chosen a name for it yet. My Miata currently sits in the apartment
complex parking lot, awaiting my choice for a storage place... because
there's no way my baby's going to sit outside!
