Kuhmo's from Tire Rack and they were 'ready to run', on the contrary
non-heat cycled Kuhmo's were worthless until after lunch break when they
had a chance to cool down, thus the running them and cooling was a heat
cycle of sorts.

The problem I see with running a non-heat cycled tire on the road is you
may damage the tire before it ever sees the track.  Plus, you will not
get the consistent heating that the machinery at tire rack could
perform.  On the contrary, it's kinda expensive for Tire Rack to do it.

I personally would buy heat cycled tires from Tire rack for it's
dependability and ability to go 'brand new' on the track.

IMNSHO...
