LOL! I have a feeling if John had a turbocharger,
we'd see it in the red car, not the black one! LOL
Hee hee, that would be cool, though, wouldn't it?
One thing that is different is that 7690 (beside being
a 1.6 l) has the k&n cone filter intake dealie. Could
my stock intake (with k&n drop-in filter) be whiney?
I'm more inclined to believe it has something to do
with the alternator, but I've not had a chance to
experiment any further.
