I must have missed this thread for some time now, but
I have the Talbot knock-off mirrors on my '95. You
can see pics here:

Some points to bring up that may answer some
questions:
1) I have found out that the Senior size that I have
allows the bigger base that comes with the set to
utilize at least one of the factory holes from the OEM
power mirrors I had. Therefore allowing me to drill
one more hole (that can be covered up with stock
mirror bases again if needed) to mount the Talbot
knock-offs. It is a seamless install and you can just
make out one of the OEM screws I used in this pic:
http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Factory/7055/mirror1.jpg
2) While the mirrors look great (and do not shake) -
the visuals outside now are lacking. The blind spot
is huge now. The mirrors can be adjusted to some
extent, but the aim too low. They are convex mirror
(recommended), but I think I'll adopt the Bob Hotaling
method of sticking on a 2" bulged mirror (at local
parts shop) on the pass side so that I can see
everything to my right.
3) I had one crushed recently in a "brush-less" car
wash...crushed it like a can of Coke. They replaced
it, but I was shocked to see how little pressure is
required to cave in the body of the mirror (after all,
these are knock-offs). It looks like it is possible
that if someone were to bump into one with their hip
let's say, it would do the same thing.
So, I like them...some people don't. If anyone has
any questions, please feel free to email me.

After Scott Chamberlain (sp?) lost his beloved
"Thumper" at Pocono,like a
vulture I commented that I wanted his bullet mirrors
that have thecorrect
mounts to fit where the OEM mirrors attach. Some
months later, andafter
making a car payment or two for him :), they arrived
in FL.
