OK, I'll go out on a limb here since nobody else mentioned it yet.

*IF* you, a spouse, or parent is or ever was an officer in any branch of the
military, you are eligible to obtain insurance from USAA.  They are an
absolutely awesome company, many listers enjoy the benefits of having them
underwrite their insurance.  Mine is about $530 /per year/ on my car, with
full coverage.  That's before the dividend that I receive from them every
year for around $30.
