Daniel - I was under the impression that there should be as little metal between the radar locator (Valentine 1 is this and not a detector) and the radar (Cop). In this case, that would mean above the window-line of the car... I could be under the wrong impression. On another note, around town I like to know if the radar is in front or behind me, so I like to see the little flashing arrows on my Valentine 1! Cheers.
