Subject: World's Tackiest Miata...(Cringe)...

     Have seen what must be the most horribly modified Miata up here on
the University of Maine campus.  It is classic red with the following:
    -Wire wheels with a huge positive offset so they stick out of the
    fenders at least 2 inches...tires not much wider than stock, just
    offset A LOT!  Oh yeah...big 3-prong spinners too...

    -Rear wing of a turbo Porsche type of design.  Starts at front of
    trunk lid and rises to maybe 4-5" high and overhangs the bumper.

    -Red neon lights below the car!

I still can't believe anyone would do this to a Miata.  It did, however,
NOT have Maine license plates.  (I won't mention the state to avoid offending
anyone.)  This person should be stonned to death.  Anyone else ever seen
anything so horrid?
