Subject: Day 0 - Great West Tour

(Ok, so the name of this trip has GOT to change.  We'll work on it along the
way)

It's right at midnight, so technically this is day 1.  Our vacation actually
started last night (Fri, Sept 1) with our attendance at a Lyle Lovett
concert.  The concert was filmed for (of all things) Disney.  

Car is packed.  We have mangaged to squeeze into two medium sized duffel
bags and a number of assorted smaller pouches bags etc.  The one luxury we
are taking is some 64 CD's neatly packed (sans cases) into two hard-sided
cases that fit PERFECTLY into the 95's door pockets. They even make a nice
armrest.  

Tomorrow's route:

Schertz to Carlsbad NM.  
US 90 West to Sanderson, (via Langtry and Judge Roy Bean's place)
US 285 to Carlsbad.
