Hi, All! Hope everybody had a good week-end. We've decided to leave early for Gold Rush and do a couple of top-down drives that we've done before in a closed car. We're sort of planning to go through Las Vegas and then up through Nevada, over to CA to US 395, then into Yosimite over Tioga Pass. >From there we'll go to visit friends in Stockton. Then I want to drive the Pacific coast. We've driven it from L.A. to S.F., but never above San Fransisco. Will I be happy if I go north from San Fransisco, and how far should I go? After that we'll work our way to Sacramento, and visit my wife's aunt until time for Gold Rush. Have I missed anything that I'll be close to that I'd be sorry I missed if I knew about it? Isn't it nice to be worrying about this kind of stuff instead of the CAR? I probably won't even open the hood before we leave. The oil change is fresh and Baby's ALWAYS ready to go. I used to have to practically re-build the old British cars before even a short trip. WHAT A CAR!!!!
