Is it my imagination or...

I recently had my 30K tune up, and I noticed that the idle speed is a bit
higher during a cold start (1st thing in the morning).  It idles at around
1500 RPM's before I get moving, and then (before the engine warms) it idles
around 1700+ rpms at stop signs/lights.  As soon as the engine warms a little,
it goes back to it's normal warm-engine idle speed.

Is this normal, or am I just imagining things because I really hate my
dealership's service department?
