It is a cracking sound. It is as if two things are rubbing each other. Hope

Pradeep, what does it sound like? If it sounds like a low growl, it's not
coming from behind the dash, but rather from behind you... in fact it's ME
growling about the guy in front of me who's driving 20 mph!

Only kidding... but a description of the sound would help the diagnosis.
