Subject: Check Engine Light

Recently, I have had the check engine light come on when driving on the 

highway.  The light stayed on for about 15-20 seconds and then went out and 

did not light up again on that trip.  This has happened at least twice.



As background, I recently set the timing to 14 degrees.  No other recent 

changes to the car.  The car has 33K miles and had the 30K tune up in January. 

 Everything is stock (1992).



Any ideas as to what to look for?  I don't want to waste any money at the 

dealer, so I am first looking to the collective wisdom of the list.
