Well as Dennis Griffin was so kind to point out I forgot the" black chroming the interior part". I bet he thought I had gone completely bananas and powder-coated all my chrome black... Actually the truth is even weirder, a friend of mine who is aware of my obsession gave me a bottle of Turtle Wax black chrome as a joke, it had been collecting dust, as it is used to make black metal shine like chrome, hence the name DUH.....;-) After I had dri-washed Lrr I tried the stuff on the plastic interior, nothing much happened, got my towel all dirty but the interior still didn't look any brighter. I tried some Turtle Wax cockpit spray, which made it streaky and even some Zymol top conditioner...nothing worked any magic. Feeling in a frisky mood I tried the Black chrome stuff on a really faded part and to my surprise it looked really good, luscious deep deep black shine, the kind that makes you want to lick your dashboard...but you don't because that would be silly. I did the whole interior in 10 minutes (including doors and top-lining) polished the whole thing out and put on my Ray-bans...the shine is that deep, today I checked again, the wet-look is still there and it doesn't rub off when finger it. I have no idea if this stuff will attract dust, but I think it will... Another fine example of using a product for something else that it was meant for and coming up roses... -------------------------------------- Allan & Little Red Rooster Belgium M-club 141 MCA 60291 chrome to the bone -------------------------------------- Why do I always have so much month left at the end of my money ? http://www.ping.be/revelation/
