Hello All! I'm back from my 1, 890 mile trip to the Midwest (IN & ILL). On the way out, I hit big rain in the mountains on the Penn Turnpike (of course!), so I had to put the top up. In the rain, I found that my stock Bridgestones really did not perform too badly, although I DID slow down to 50-55 mph (visibility was also a problem). BTW, the only problem I have really noticed with the Bridgestones is spinning on a start from stopped in the rain. Had great cruising in the backroads of N. Indiana and N. Illinois. Perrito got it to meet its Midwestern cousin, another 93 LE owned by my girlfriend's parents, for the first time! We got some interesting looks from the cars we passed on our mini-caravan! Also, we got some great photos in Galena, for those who know where that is. On the way back, great weather all the way, so top down, of course. ;-) Saw many Miatae and got a BUNCH of wave-backs, which made Perrito very happy! No tickets, no troubles, much fun!
