Subject: Decklid Gas Strut Kits

I just looked at Moss Motorsports' ad in the current Miata Magazine and

confirmed my suspicion:  Their decklid kit is the same as the one I got

from Wiz a few years ago.  I believe that all the vendors' decklid strut

kits are exactly the same product, made by the same company.  It is of

good quality and very effective.  Nevertheless, I still wouldn't get it

again for the reasons I gave earlier.



BTW, yesterday I tortured myself by going to my local Mazda dealership. 

They had two base '96s (PhRedd) that they wanted to sell me for $16.5k

(each, wiseguys).  I said no. I'm leaning hard toward a used blue or

PhRedd R package, though I still may wait until Spring.  Anyone know how

many (if any) blue R packages exist?  I bet they're butt rare.
