Sounds like fun to me. Perhaps we can have two types of competition.
One is driving a bone stock Miata (a '99) in Arcade mode for best course
times. The other competition is driving *any* car (modified or not) for
best course times. For starters we can decide upon a course (I'll
suggest Trial Mountain). We can be total geeks and give tuning and
driving advice. I assume everyone uses some sort of analog controller,
right?
To all those who have not played the game:
I know the real thing is better. But I can't remember I the last time I
had enough guts (or a blatant disregard for my health) to slide around
off camber esses at 120mph, crash into a wall head on, and continue on
my merry way. Better in the game than on the streets ;) If Aaron ran a
track event twice a week, I'd consider weaning myself a way from the
Playstation.
