AARRGGHH!  CATTOY's top is leaking.  When it rains and especially when I
wash her (direct hose spray) water leaks down the inside of the windows and
has soaked the soft top shelf.  How can I tell if the rain rails were
reinstalled when the top was put back on?  Does this necessarily mean the
back of the top was not refitted properly?  How else could the shelf get
soaked?  

Also the soft top frame piece that has the latches on it to lock into the
windshield and has the handle to lift and lower the top (if you don't have
long nails and can use it) is starched from the accident.  If I get a new
top is the old frame left in place/reused?  If so is there a way to paint
this piece and not damage the old top?  I was thinking of giving the old
vinyl (1 yr. old, about as good as new its just the window is scratched) top
to someone who might need it.
