That's probably technological overkill. Why not just put in a kill switch?
:) You can always set the redline to 100 rpm if you've got another couple
of seconds and want some extra security.

I don't think there's enough room on the LINK keypad for that. My
hard-mounted Pilot will do this, however. Extra cost is about $100 US if
you already have a SeriaLink, or $180 if you don't.
