My apologies to all our Miata breathern whom I doubted (to some extent)...

While I was raised on rear wheel drive and V8's in the snowy country and
didn't have much trouble driving in it... and while I did NOT doubt that
the Miata would be much better with snows on...

I wasn't really prepared for the reality.

Put a set of Pirelli Ice Directionals on Tuesday night. We had about an
inch or so and I had no problems climbing the hill in my drive (light
dusting in the same circumstance stopped my Potenzas).

This morning though, I awake to four to five inches... mix of light and
ice crust being added to by wet and sloppy. Up the drive, no problem.
(Deep enough for bottom of car to scrape the snow.) Out on the streets...
what a BLAST! Total control. Start on the uphill, no problem. Change
lanes thought the deep ruts, no problem. Walk around the dim-wits who
couldn't control the weight of their gas foot, NO problem. ANd parking
lots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

;-))
